“We already had many clients with long-term hire arrangements in these regions,” said Mr Harris.
“Though our new locations we can provide quicker dispatches, closer servicing and maintenance options and branch managers who know the regional challenges and opportunities.”
To further support Queensland operations, FleetCrew has also established a Townsville branch — a hub for travellers heading inland to mining regions, including Charters Towers, Cloncurry and Mt Isa. The Townsville branch is also positioned to support operations integral to the state’s power up-grade — including the CopperString project.
“The new Townsville branch complements our existing North Queensland locations in Mackay, Mount Isa and Cloncurry,” Ms Strelow said.
“We now have a bigger offering for customers on the coast as well as a connected service corridor along the Barkly and Flinders Highways.”
