Brisbane based 4wd Hire vehicle specialist, FleetCrew, received tremendous feedback from the producers of UK TV program Top Gear. The cast and crew were in Australia’s Northern Territory late 2014 to film episode 2 of the latest series which aired in Australia in February.

FleetCrew were approached by the producers to supply 4wd hire vehicles specifically fitted out for the production and camera crew. “Although we are based in Brisbane, for long term hires or to meet specific needs, we will deliver hire vehicles all over Queensland, NSW and the Northern Territory” said Executive Director and Co-founder of FleetCrew, Ben Harris. “It was exciting to be selected by and be working with an unparalleled international TV brand”
FleetCrew supplied three Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series GXL Wagon’s for three weeks of filming in the top end. The hire vehicles supplied were used while filming the presenters Richard Hammond, James May and Jeremy Clarkson driving three high performance cars – a yellow Bentley Continental, a Nissan GTR and a BMW M6 grand coupe.
“During and after the shoot I was contacted by a number of the producers who informed me the vehicles supplied by FleetCrew were the best support vehicles they had ever used. It was very pleasing to hear from such an experienced and travelled film crew.” said Ben.
